This book covers both manual and computerised skills. The first half of the text manually works through the Accounting equation, analysing transactions, double entry bookkeeping and a detailed case study working from source documents through to trial balance and reconciling subsidiary ledgers. These same transactions are then repeated in Xero including an introduction to using contacts and items as well as all the features required to complete the day to day financial recording and reporting in Xero. All units BSBFIA301, BSBFIA303 and BSBFIA304, are addressed. It is modular and student data files can be supplied to enable variable entry points into the case studies.
